A Message from Superintendent Pat Hamilton

Dear Mason City Schools Families and Community,

It is with excitement, privilege, and honor that I serve as the superintendent of Mason City Schools. I am genuinely grateful for the opportunity to work with our incredible students, dedicated families, talented staff, and a community that wholeheartedly supports public education.

Mason City Schools is committed to ensuring that every student has the opportunities to succeed and grow into productive members of society and contributors to our community. Our district takes pride in fostering a learning environment where all students are encouraged to reach their full potential academically, socially, and personally.

We are fortunate to have strong partnerships with local businesses, industries, and community organizations. These connections enhance the educational experience for our students, providing them with opportunities to explore their interests and build skills that prepare them for the future.

At Mason City Schools, students have many ways to get involved, from athletics and the arts to clubs, internships, and job experiences. Our district also offers concurrent credit and AP courses and other programs that empower students to explore their passions while gaining valuable real-world experience.

As we continue working together, I encourage families, community members, and partners to stay actively engaged in supporting our students and schools. Together, we will build on Mason City Schools’ tradition and create even more opportunities for out students to thrive.
