About MCCSD

Mason City Community School District is a diverse and effective school district located in north central Iowa. The district educates about 3,600 students with its nine attendance centers and virtual academy. We are a district committed to learning and providing multiple pathways for our students to succeed. Beyond our academics, Mason City Community School District offers a wide range of athletics, activities, and clubs for our students to engage in. Our state-of-the-art fieldhouse and natatorium facilities provide endless opportunities for students of all ages.

The district is very proud of the community partnerships we have built. We collaborate with several local businesses and agencies to keep our learners engaged and on a path to be a successful in the future. Our partnerships also allow us to provide several opportunities for our students and their families.
