The “Abuse of Students by School District Employees” policy forbids any physical or sexual abuse, inappropriate relationships, or grooming behavior by district employees or volunteers. Those found in violation will face disciplinary actions, including possible termination. The district will investigate allegations promptly, report to the appropriate agencies, and ensure confidentiality. Employees are required to cooperate with investigations. Designated, trained investigators oversee cases, and the superintendent is responsible for enforcing this policy, which complies with Iowa law.
