The display is located in our new athletic facilities and includes all the former athletes who have joined the Alumni Letterwinner’s Club for that year.  The display is updated to reflect the names, years of graduation, sport(s) that each person lettered in at MCHS, and the number of letters that student athletes received in each sport.

  • Each new member will receive a very attractive Alumni Letterwinner’s Club plaque with a decal showing the year of membership the first year.  In each subsequent year a decal for that year will be mailed to you upon receipt of payment and contribution form.  
  • Membership needs to be renewed each year.  The display will be updated at the end of each year reflecting all those who joined for that year.
  • There are three giving levels – $100+, $500+, and $1,000+.  Those who join at the $500+ level will receive a silver star by their name and those who join at the $1,000+ level will receive a gold star by their name.
  • Names will be listed on the display board in alphabetical order.
  • Money raised will be used for the purchase, repair, and updating of the athletic equipment and facilities at Mason City HIgh School and used at the discretion of the high school principal and athletic director.
  • The Alumni Letterwinner’s Club will run on a calendar year/fiscal year with the exception of the first of the year.  Members need to have joined by December 31 to be included in the membership for that year.
  • Anyone who is a varsity letterwinner at Mason City High School is eligible to joine the Alumni Letterwinner’s Club.  If a student athlete has passed, the first year’s membership fees needs to be paid.  Future contributions are appreciated, but not required to maintain membership.
